Unlike other Reporting Applications, as part of standard installation of WISE, a comprehensive set of SAP reports from various application areas are pre-enabled and made available for immediate use.

WISE also allows design and creation of new custom reports that can access data directly from SAP data sources. These reports allow aggregation of data from multiple data sources like database systems, XML, Flat files etc. along with SAP data.

As a value-added proposition to enterprise portals, it enables web information access-based collaboration with partners including dealers and suppliers, providing the information needed for tracking inventory, viewing sales / relationship histories, transaction statuses etc. It has a sophisticated integrated Portal system where the users can sign-in using just a web browser to view and manage the reports.
