aSAPXcess uses a J2EE technology based application model and uses J2EE application server as the integration server. This brings significant cost savings as J2EE application servers cost much lower than proprietary integration server products. As an option, a J2EE application server comes bundled with aSAPXcess at no additional cost. 

Standard connectivity with SAP via the JCA (J2EE Connector Architecture) compliant aSAPXcess Business Adapter product component. JCA is the specification developed and approved by Java Community (comprising of SUN, Oracle, BEA, IBM etc.) for standards based integration of Enterprise Information Systems. 

Offers very high degree of portability, interoperability and scalability. Due to its open protocols based implementation, aSAPXcess platform can be deployed and ported on to any J2EE compatible platform. Its Web Services Oriented architecture allows seamless integration with applications on any technology platform. 

Includes toolkit based product components to build custom integration applications specific to SAP enterprises. These components have been built to allow implementation of customized integration application scenarios with SAP applications with minimum programming effort.
